I hamstrung the kit that I ambushed and left him in the street. He'll live, but he'll never fight again. He will be a drain on his pack.
One or two of those won't be noticed or cared about.
A dozen? More? That is the stuff of nightmares. Nobody will want to be one of them... and a leader that abandons his packmates to that is no leader at all. There is no winning that situation, unless he can be the kind of leader that a pack needs.
In which case, I would have no reason to attack him in the first place.
