Let them hear. I have nothing to hide, and the message I left them in the middle of Junk City's streets will be impossible to ignore.

I cannot yet strike at the heart of the Bloodclan... but every pack has weaklings, stragglers... Prey, in other words. For every one that they protect... two more will be exposed.

...Picking off the stragglers will not completely fix the problem. Only cutting off the...main source will. Reckless strikes won't either.

But a way to show them we are not as weak as they believe -- that is good. I think, Repede, that in the future...we need to work together.

Scourge. If you hear this message. We are not going to let you take over this world. We are not going to let you murder innocents and rip apart their peace. We will stand up, not as Clanmates, not as cats or dogs, but as those with a duty to protect others. As those who want only to stop the injustice that has been going on here for far too long.

Oh, I'm not killing them.

Killing them is too easy. It is not the way to strike fear in the hearts of your enemies.

I hamstrung the kit that I ambushed and left him in the street. He'll live, but he'll never fight again. He will be a drain on his pack.

One or two of those won't be noticed or cared about.

A dozen? More? That is the stuff of nightmares. Nobody will want to be one of them... and a leader that abandons his packmates to that is no leader at all. There is no winning that situation, unless he can be the kind of leader that a pack needs.

In which case, I would have no reason to attack him in the first place.

I would hate to be against you, Repede. Your tactics are frightening at best. But Scourge is no real leader. Making those who follow him see that will aid us more than we can tell.

There is a cat that we need to consult on this. As much as I...detest working with him, Tigerstar will be of use to us.

And no, he is NOT a leader... The one that I attacked is proof enough of that. He is charismatic, but he is otherwise lacking.

I will defer to your wisdom on this. Knowing ones' enemy is important. If you can arrange the consultation, I will join you.
